Typical telepresence network solutions use proprietary technology for signaling and encoding, making interoperability with other telepresence network solutions difficult at best. In addition, they often require a costly dedicated network just to ensure the quality of the service, which results in wasted bandwidth when no telepresence sessions are active.

The Products
Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways for the branch, as well as traditional WAN routers, identify and prioritize telepresence bandwidth traffic. For an additional level of network efficiency, Polycom’s DMA system communicates with our SRC Series to ensure telepresence bandwidth availability and service quality.
